Senior Manager - Proposals (Railways)

Role:
The Senior Manager - Proposals (Railways) is responsible for leading the development and strategy for winning Bids of complex jobs involved with the various Railway Systems works (Railway Electrification, Signalling & Telecommunication, etc.). It involves managing a team of specialists and assigning jobs within the team to obtain goals within the desired timeline. It also involves coordination with multiple stakeholders and ensuring due process is followed while proceeding with various bids and internal job domain activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute Winning proposals:
   • Strategically allocate resources
   • Ensure timely and high-quality proposal submissions
   • Support the negotiation of winning opportunities.
   • Maintain compliance with bid requirements, optimizing proposal outcomes, and contributing to the organization’s growth through successful tendering.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
   • Work closely with the Design Team so that design team are able to provide us with deliverables as per Bid requirement
   • Work closely with Supply Chain Management Team so that last purchase rates of major materials and activities are benchmarked with respect to current bid
   • Collaborate with Suppliers / OEMs / System Providers / Subcontractors, so that they provide us with most competitive offers for materials as well as skilled activities.
3. Provide Leadership and Stakeholder Alignment:
   • Drive Consensus with the other team members on all matters so that everyone is on the same page
   • Take calculated decisions on key activities involved in bidding so that we can set benchmarks for the market.
4. Lead and Manage proposal team:
   • Oversee team activities
   • Mentor team members
   • Help in enhancing skills by providing them with technical feedback.

Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from reputed institute
