Specialist - Software Engineering
Looking for an experienced Observability Engineer with strong expertise in Dynatrace and Splunk to design implement and support enterprise monitoring and observability solutions across hybrid and cloud environments
Key Responsibilities
Dynatrace Administration Monitoring
Configure and administer Dynatrace OneAgent ActiveGate and SaaSManaged deployments
Monitor application infrastructure cloud and containerized workloads
Create and maintain dashboards s synthetic monitors and service flow visualizations
Perform performance analysis and proactive issue identification using Dynatrace capabilities
Integrate Dynatrace with cloud platforms ITSM DevOps and CICD tools
Develop automation scripts using Python Shell or PowerShell
Implement monitoring as code and observability best practices
Splunk Administration Analytics
Administer Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Observability environments
Design and develop SPL queries dashboards reports and s
Manage data onboarding parsing indexing and normalization
Configure monitoring for infrastructure applications security and business services
Optimize Splunk performance data retention and ingestion processes
Integrate Splunk with cloud platforms ITSM DevOps and CICD tools
Develop automation scripts using Python Shell or PowerShell
Implement monitoring as code and observability best practices
Governance Continuous Improvement
Define monitoring standards thresholds and strategies
Reduce noise and improve observability maturity
Create operational documentation runbooks and knowledge articles
Mentor L1L2 support engineers and provide technical guidance
Mandatory Skills
Handson experience with Dynatrace Administration and Monitoring
Strong expertise in Splunk Enterprise Administration
Experience with SPL Search Processing Language
Monitoring observability and performance management concepts
Dashboard creation ing and reporting
Root Cause Analysis RCA and performance troubleshooting
Linux and Windows administration knowledge
Incident Problem and Change Management ITIL
