Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader with 18+ years of deep technical and architectural experience in DevOps and DevSecOps practices. This distinguished engineer will drive engineering excellence, product adoption, and innovation across a large-scale financial organization. The role demands hands-on expertise, strategic leadership, and the ability to influence global technology teams while ensuring operational resilience and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engineering Leadership: Lead the design, development, and adoption of enterprise-grade DevOps/DevSecOps solutions across global financial platforms.
  • Architecture & Innovation: Architect scalable CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks leveraging GitHub, Azure DevOps, Sonatype, and Broadcom CA Release Automation.
  • Product Ownership: Act as global service owner for DevOps/DevSecOps platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance.
  • Hands-on Execution: Provide technical direction and hands-on engineering in pipeline automation, release orchestration, and secure software delivery.
  • Governance & Compliance: Embed security and compliance controls into DevOps workflows, aligning with financial industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Partner with product engineering teams, risk governance, and infrastructure leaders to drive adoption of modern DevOps practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion innovative approaches to accelerate delivery, improve resilience, and reduce operational risk.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, and infrastructure engineering.
  • Distinguished engineer with proven hands-on expertise in:
    • GitHub Enterprise
    • Azure DevOps
    • CI/CD pipeline design and automation
    • Sonatype Nexus / Lifecycle
    • Broadcom CA Release Automation
  • Strong architectural background in enterprise-scale automation and secure delivery pipelines.
  • Experience leading global service ownership and driving adoption across large financial organizations.
  • Deep problem-solving ability with a leadership edge—capable of influencing senior stakeholders and guiding engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of Liquibase for database change management (preferred).
  • Proven track record of delivering resilient, compliant, and scalable solutions in regulated industries.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in financial services or global banking organizations.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST, DORA, PRA).
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
