Preferred Skills Docker and Kubernetes Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) Event-driven architecture About the Role We are looking for a Golang Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable, reliable and high-performance backend products and services. The role works across the software development lifecycle and collaborates with product, engineering and DevOps teams in a product-focused Scrum environment. The technology landscape includes Golang, Google Spanner, REST APIs, microservices, Kafka/Pub/Sub, Kubernetes and GCP, with monitoring and engineering tools such as Datadog, Postman, K6 and SonarQube. Roles & Responsibilities • Design, develop and maintain product features and backend services using Golang. • Design and optimize database structures, SQL queries and data integrity using Google Spanner. • Develop and support REST APIs and microservices with focus on availability, reliability and performance. • Implement monitoring, logging and analytics for service usage, performance and system health. • Collaborate with DevOps teams on deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. • Support production troubleshooting, technical documentation, estimation and knowledge sharing. • Work in a product-focused Scrum team against a product-owner-driven roadmap. • Apply LLM and agentic workflow practices within the SDLC. Required Qualifications • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. • 3+ years as a Backend Developer, including 1+ year as a Golang Developer. • Strong database/SQL knowledge, REST API principles and microservices architecture. • Experience with high-load/high-uptime production services and Docker/Kubernetes/cloud-native technologies. • Understanding of Agile/Scrum, QA processes, LLMs and agentic workflows.
