Role Title: Global Learning & Development Specialist

Location: Pune, India

Purpose of the Role

In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of learning at SKF. The role has a strong focus on learning support, learning technology, tools, and delivery coordination — helping ensure that learning solutions are organized, accessible, well-supported, and delivered with high quality across global audiences. You will work closely with colleagues across Group PX, Academies, PX Operations, and the business to support learning platforms, learner and stakeholder requests, content publishing, scheduling, administration, reporting, and the coordination of internal and external trainers, facilitators, and vendors. This is a role for someone who enjoys creating structure, solving practical issues, and making learning operations work smoothly at scale.

Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with SKF Academies to provide operational support for global learning initiatives, ensuring learning activities are planned, coordinated, and delivered in a structured and reliable way.
    • Support learning platforms, systems, and tools, including administration, access support, content publishing, basic troubleshooting, user guidance, and continuous improvement of the learner experience.
    • Coordinate the delivery of learning activities, including scheduling, enrolment, learner communication, session logistics, attendance tracking, follow-up, and evaluation.
    • Organize and coordinate delivery with internal and external trainers, facilitators, subject matter experts, and vendors to ensure smooth and high-quality execution.
    • Support vendor and partner management activities such as onboarding, coordination, documentation, scheduling, communication, and follow-up on delivery quality and compliance.
    • Handle learner and stakeholder requests related to learning delivery, tools, and access, and help maintain standards, guides, and knowledge materials that improve support quality.
    • Support the maintenance and quality assurance of learning content and learning catalogues to ensure materials are accurate, accessible, and aligned with global standards.
    • Contribute to learning data, reporting, and operational insights to support decision-making, monitor participation and completion, and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Help improve ways of working in learning operations by supporting process improvements, better use of technology and Artificial Intelligence, and more efficient collaboration across teams and partners.

Requirements / Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Typically, 3-5 years of experience in Learning & Development, learning operations, learning administration, learning technology support, HR operations, or a similar field.
    • Experience supporting end-to-end learning delivery, including planning, scheduling, enrolment, learner communication, coordination of logistics, and follow-up.
    • Experience working with learning platforms, learning systems, or digital learning tools, including administration, content publishing, access support, or user support.
    • Experience coordinating internal and external trainers, facilitators, subject matter experts, or vendors as part of training delivery or learning operations.
    • Experience in a global or matrix organization, and confidence working across cultures, stakeholders, and time zones, is preferred.

Skills and capabilities

    • Learning operations excellence — able to organize, coordinate, and follow through on learning activities with structure, quality, and reliability.
    • Digital and AI mindset — interest in and ability to leverage digital tools, automation, and applied AI to improve learning operations, streamline processes, and enhance user experience.
    • Learning technology and tool confidence — comfortable supporting learning systems, digital tools, content publishing, user guidance, and continuous improvement of the learner experience.
    • Service and support mindset — enjoys helping others, resolving practical issues, and creating a smooth and professional support experience for learners and stakeholders.
    • Coordination skills — able to manage multiple moving parts, coordinate trainers, facilitators, vendors, and stakeholders, and keep delivery on track.
    • Process excellence and continuous improvement — applies structured ways of working, identifies improvement opportunities, and actively contributes to optimizing processes, tools, and ways of working in learning operations.
    • Communication skills — able to communicate clearly with learners, facilitators, vendors, and internal stakeholders in English, both in writing and verbally.
    • Analytical thinking — able to use data, feedback, and operational information to identify issues and support improvements.
    • Ownership and dependability — takes responsibility, follows through, and contributes with a steady, proactive, and dependable approach.

What We Offer

    • A global role where your work will have practical impact, helping create learning solutions and ways of working that people across SKF can rely on.
    • The chance to join a collaborative, values‑driven environment where quality, continuous improvement, wellbeing, and long‑term development matter.
    • Opportunities to strengthen capability across the business while contributing to meaningful initiatives.
