Job Description

AGM - Electrical

Responsible for efficient and reliable performance and implementation of maintenance strategy of electrical systems, Ensure NIL Tripping of unit due to electrical faults, Ensure availability of critical electrical spares for availability of plant. Also, Responsible for ESP, AHP, BOP area and plant lighting maintenance for improving overall plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial

  1. Ensure availability of all critical spares and reduce down time to increase availability of plant.
  2. Development of superior substitutes for OEM spares to reduce the cost of spares & maintenance.

Internal Process

  1. Ensure compliance of permit-to-work (PTW) system/ LOTO system 
  2. 100% compliance of safety observations & training to ensure zero accident.
  3. Preparation and review of Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs) in line with maintenance and spare policies.
  4. Ensure minimization of costs through continuous improvements and introduction of efficient electrical equipment.
  5. Ensure documentation is being maintained as per IMS policy
  6. Preparation of budget and adherence to approved budget.

Customer

  1. Planning and execution of annual overhauling of electrical system within stipulated cost and time. 
  2. Ensure NIL Tripping of unit due to electrical faults.
  3. Ensure 100% availability of electrical system (AHP, ESP & BOP)
  4. Planning for Preventive Maintenance and Condition Monitoring of Equipment.
  5. Attend all service request within the SLAs.
  6. To carry out breakdown maintenance as per Maintenance Instruction of OEM and restore the equipment/system in the minimum possible time.
  7. Maintain minimum lux level of illumination system. 
  8. Motivate team members for energy conservation, good maintenance practices and safety practices etc.
  9. Prepare Trip report & Root cause Analysis of failure of equipment/tripping. Why-why analysis to be done for the repetitive breakdowns

  10. Learning & Growth

    1. Knowledge sharing (Training program) to develop team members. 
    2. Provide technical/non-technical external training to employee for development skill.
