  • Provide architectural leadership across client, account, product, legal agreement, performance, benchmark, reference, and other strategic data domains.
  • Act as a senior design authority by reviewing solutions, challenging technical choices, identifying risks and dependencies, mentoring teams, and communicating decisions to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Maintain concise architecture deliverables, including diagrams, data models, integration flows, architecture decisions, deployment views, and operational-readiness documentation.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and data-driven applications.
  • Deep expertise in Snowflake, data warehousing, relational and dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT, metadata, lineage, data quality, and audit controls.

  • Experience diagnosing performance across SQL, transformation, semantic, and visualization layers.
  • Experience with cloud architecture, APIs, services, batch and event-driven integration, security, observability, and operational resilience.
  • Proven ability to define target-state architecture, reusable technical patterns, roadmaps, and measurable non-functional requirements.
  • Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.

  • Engineering Practices: CI/CD, DevSecOps, source control, automated testing, infrastructure-as-code concepts, production supportability, and performance monitoring.
  • Leadership: Architecture reviews, design authority, technical roadmaps, mentoring, stakeholder communication, and collaboration across engineering, security, infrastructure, data governance, and enterprise architecture teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Investment management, asset management, financial services, or another highly governed data environment.
  • Performance and client reporting, benchmark and reference data, account and client hierarchies, and legal-entity or agreement data.
