Role Overview –

Job Responsibilities:

As a Backend Developer at Drip Capital, you will be responsible for:

·         Designing, building, deploying, and maintaining microservices that provide time-sensitive capital to customers worldwide.

·         Collaborating closely with product managers to understand customer requirements and define technical solutions.

·         Developing risk modules to adapt to individual and market variations.

·         Creating and enhancing workflow automation.

·         Debugging issues across services and multiple levels of the technology stack.

Required Qualifications:

·         3+ years of relevant experience in building low-latency, distributed systems that are scalable and reliable.

·         Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

·         Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C/C++

·         Experience with at least one MVC framework used for backend development, such as Ruby on Rails, Spring, CodeIgniter, etc.

·         Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), with the ability to write optimized SQL queries and understand indexing, schema design, and query performance.

·         Experience in designing and building APIs, including RESTful APIs or GraphQL, with good understanding of versioning, pagination, authentication, and best practices.

·         Solid understanding of software architecture fundamentals, including object-oriented design, abstractions, and system design.

·         Passion for building well-engineered, reusable backend components with high-quality code.

·         Basic knowledge of test-driven software development.

·         Good to have prior experience with ruby on rails.
