Regional Channel Manager
Role Overview: Regional Channel Manager is responsible for strengthening and expanding the Mahindra Automotive’s Channel network within the assigned territory by driving network expansion, Channel infrastructure readiness, capacity enhancement, operational standards, Channel viability, and timely execution of network development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Network Planning
- Assess territory-wise network adequacy based on market potential (sales & service), customer reach, and future business requirements.
- Identify network gaps and recommend new Sales/ Service touchpoints as applicable.
- Support identification, evaluation, and appointment of prospective Channel partners.
- Drive execution of approved network expansion projects from LOI issuance through operationalization.
- Track Channel commitments v/s facility homologation timelines.
- Work closely with Sales, Service, Customer Experience, EV, Network Planning, Finance, Legal, Real Estate, IT, and other stakeholders for seamless network execution.
Infrastructure Development
- Drive expansion & upgradation of Channel facilities in accordance with CI Norms.
- Coordinate facility design, branding, CI implementation, workshop capacity, customer areas, and supporting infrastructure.
- Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve bottlenecks affecting project completion.
- Ensure infrastructure investments are aligned with projected business potential and Channel viability.
Channel Engagement & Governance
- Build strong relationships with Dealer Principals and dealership teams.
- Conduct reviews of network development priorities, investment commitments, and project progress.
- Drive Dealer Engagement and R&R Programs at dealerships.
- Escalate critical risks related to violations of Channel Code of Conduct & governance.
Education
- MBA / PGDM from a reputed institute preferred.
- Engineering or Business Administration background desirable
Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in Channel Development, Retail Transformation, or Automotive Sales Operations.
- Experience within Automotive OEMs or large retail channel ecosystems.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale network expansion and strategic transformation initiatives.
