AS400 Technical Specialist

Job Summary
The Technical Specialist (AS400) will be responsible for overseeing the AS400 systems, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of AS400 environments. The primary objective is to optimize AS400 performance and reliability to meet business needs. (1.) Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and monitor as400 systems to ensure high availability and performance.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve as400related issues and incidents promptly.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement as400 system upgrades and enhancements.
4. Design and implement security measures to protect as400 systems from cyber threats.
5. Develop and maintain technical documentation for as400 systems and procedures.
6. Conduct regular performance tuning to optimize as400 system efficiency.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
8. Stay updated on as400 advancements and recommend best practices for implementation.

Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in as400 administration, including system monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
