Role Purpose

The Product Manager – Cross-Sell & Business Planning will be responsible for driving multi-product penetration across the Commercial Banking portfolio through strategic planning, budgeting, performance tracking, data-driven insights, and stakeholder management. The role requires close coordination with state sales teams, product teams, finance, operations, and analytics functions to ensure achievement of cross-sell objectives, timely reconciliations, and resolution of business queries.

Key Responsibilities -

Business Planning & Budgeting à

• Support annual and periodic business planning exercises for cross-sell products.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, targets, and productivity models across products and geographies.
• Track performance against approved business plans and budgets.
• Analyze trends & recommend growth opportunities

Cross-Sell Program Management à

• Drive multi-product cross-sell initiatives across segments.
• Monitor product penetration and cross-sell ratios across regions and states.
• Design and track cross-sell campaigns, contests, and performance.
• Identify gaps in product adoption and create action plans to improve penetration.

Performance MIS & Analyticsà

• Prepare periodic MIS, dashboards, and management reviews.
• Generate actionable insights for leadership and field teams
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of business data and reporting metrics

Reconciliation & Controls à

• Manage product-wise, incentive-related & all kinds reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Sales teams & other cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure timely closure of reconciliation items and adherence to internal controls.

Query Resolution & Business Support à

• Provide prompt resolution of business and operational queries from field teams.
• Support product-related clarifications, organizing product trainings and refresher.

Qualification & Experience

• MBA/PGDM preferred.
• 3–6 years of experience in Banking, Product Management, Business Planning & Strategy.
• Experience in managing cross-sell programs, business MIS, budgeting, and stakeholder management will be an advantage.

Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
