In this permanent role based in Chennai, you will shape an impactful pipeline of process re-engineering initiatives that unlock measurable value. You will work at the intersection of operations, data, and technology, helping teams simplify how work gets done and driving faster improvements for patients and customers!

You will partner closely with leaders across functions, applying process mining, automation, and low-code platforms as tools to diagnose difficulties and implement pragmatic improvements. By building trusted relationships and challenging the status quo, you will translate business challenges into practical solutions that deliver at pace. Accountabilities:

Collaborator Partnership: Build positive relationships with senior and operational partners, acting as a trusted thought partner who challenges current methods and aligns teams around clear improvement goals.

Opportunity Shaping: Generate, assess, and prioritise a pipeline of process optimisation and analytics opportunities across diverse customer groups, ensuring focus on initiatives with the highest business impact.

End-to-End Re-engineering: Lead discovery, diagnosis, and redesign of complex, multi-function processes, applying Lean and Six Sigma methods to simplify workflows and improve outcomes.

Automation and Process Mining Assessment: Evaluate and define the scope for automation and process mining, selecting appropriate technologies such as AI, intelligent automation, RPA, and low-code platforms to solve real business problems.

Case and Value Realisation: Quantify benefits, costs, and risks; build robust cases; and ensure benefits are tracked, reported, and sustained post-implementation.

Change Leadership: Orchestrate change management activities that prepare teams for transition to launch, drive adoption, and embed new ways of working across functions.

Workshop Facilitation: Design and run process discovery workshops with team members at all levels, creating shared understanding and momentum for change.

Project Delivery at Pace: Lead medium to large projects independently or in collaboration with peer experts, balancing multiple initiatives and delivering to agreed timelines and quality.

Standards and Compliance: Apply BPMN 2.0 for process mapping; ensure solutions follow internal standards, governance, and ethical practices while supporting virtual, global collaboration.

Ways of Working: Contribute to an energised, in-person culture by engaging on site on average at least three days per week, employing face-to-face collaboration to accelerate decisions and outcomes.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Six Sigma or Lean Management Green Belt certified alongside validated experience in the analysis & re-design of complex, multi-function business processes
  • Proven background in delivering end-to-end process re-engineering, optimisation and automation projects, with measurable business outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience assessing use cases for automation solutions using technologies such as AI, intelligent automation, RPA, Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, workflow and low-code platforms.
  • Consulting experience that goes beyond operational delivery, acting as a trusted thought partner to business leaders by, challenging existing ways of working, translating business challenges into practical AI/Automation opportunities that deliver measurable business value
  • Demonstrated experience in leading medium to large profile projects/ organisational change activities
  • Facilitating process discovery workshops across various stakeholder levels
  • Hands-on Process Mapping experience (no specific tool) using BPMN 2.0
  • Experience in improving service processes going through different functions across organization
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing & presentation/ oral communication skills
  • Energetic and self-motivated
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to discover and interpret business requirements
  • Critical thinking skills enabling challenging process findings and solutions
  • Strong time management skills with ability to work at pace, handling multiple tasks & projects at one time
  • Comfortable with working virtually in a global environment
  • Willingness to undertake some domestic/ international travel (as required)
  • Fluency in English

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in participating in service transition projects
  • Significant experience with various related BPM capabilities i.e. AI, Process/Task Mining, Robotics Process Automation, Low Code automation, BPM, workflow tools.
  • Experience and proven results in change implementation projects within the Pharma industry
  • Experience in working in Agile methodology
  • Experience in working with Business Information Centre tool by GBTEC
  • Experience in working globally
