Data & Power Apps Consultant

Experience : 5–8 years

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data & Power Apps Consultant to design, develop, and integrate enterprise-grade low-code applications, workflow automations, and data solutions. The role will focus on building scalable Power Platform applications, enabling seamless data integration, and delivering secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions that drive business transformation and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience across Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, SQL, APIs, and data pipeline concepts, with the ability to work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps solutions, including Canvas and Model-driven applications.
• Build and enhance workflow automations using Power Automate to improve process efficiency.
• Design and support ETL/ELT data pipelines and integrations across enterprise systems.
• Develop and manage data models using Dataverse, SQL, and relational database concepts.
• Integrate applications with Microsoft 365, REST APIs, JSON-based services, and external platforms.
• Troubleshoot application, automation, integration, and data-related issues across environments.
• Implement data validation, quality checks, governance practices, and access control considerations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / BCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Power Platform, application development, data engineering, or integration-focused roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in Power Apps, including Canvas apps and Model-driven apps.
• Proficiency in Power Automate for workflow automation and business process orchestration.
• Good understanding of Dataverse, relational databases, SQL, and data modeling principles.
• Experience in API integration using REST services, JSON, and enterprise application interfaces.
• Working knowledge of data pipeline concepts, including ETL/ELT design and operational support.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support multiple priorities across projects.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Functions, and Logic Apps.
• Exposure to AWS data and integration services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and Redshift.
• Experience with Databricks for data processing, pipelines, and Spark-based workloads.
• Exposure to Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
• Knowledge of Power BI integration.
• Experience in scripting using Python or PowerShell.
• Understanding of CI/CD and ALM for Power Platform.
