Job Description

We are seeking an experienced BTP AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy custom AI-powered solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building intelligent agents, copilots, and AI-driven applications leveraging SAP Joule, SAP AI services, and enterprise data sources. This role involves developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) capabilities, agent orchestration frameworks, and AI workflows while integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with SAP business processes and enterprise knowledge repositories. The candidate will work closely with Solution Architects and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions that drive business value and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement custom AI agents, copilots, and intelligent applications on SAP BTP.
Build and maintain RAG, grounding, context retrieval, and agent orchestration capabilities.
Develop AI workflows utilizing SAP BTP AI Services and SAP Joule extensibility features.
Integrate LLMs, enterprise knowledge repositories, and SAP business services into AI solutions.
Design and implement APIs, services, and integrations using ABAP/RAP, JSON, and SAP BTP technologies.
Conduct AI model evaluation, testing, validation, and performance tuning activities.
Support rapid prototyping, proof of concepts (PoCs), and MVP development initiatives.
Develop reusable AI components, frameworks, accelerators, and shared services.
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, and business SMEs to refine requirements and solution designs.
Implement monitoring, observability, logging, and operational support mechanisms for AI applications.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and Responsible AI standards.
Support the deployment, scaling, and operationalization of AI solutions in enterprise production environments.
Drive continuous improvement and adoption of emerging SAP AI and BTP capabilities.
