Role Description:

As a Mixed Reality Developer, you will actively contribute to both AR & VR development. You will work with our Business Analysts to translate user stories into features and functions. You will design solutions on devices with a specific focus on MR segment in the Apple Vision Pro ecosystem, Android XR and MS Hololens for Airbus Commercial together with Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Defense and Space.

Acting as a developer your role will cover technical evaluation on device capacity & software related environment and the development of solutions within the UNITY framework.. You are acting as a transversal link with our European development teams and you will be part of constant coordination between diverse development teams on your software related topics.

Working in a multifunctional team, you will contribute to the identification of risks and actively support to  report the development progress through roadmaps. With a collaborative mindset, you will support the development of the team by continuous sharing of your experience and knowledge about state of the art solutions with your team and peers all across the group.

• To ensure consistency of the software architecture with regards to Airbus Enterprise Architecture

• To develop solutions, updating and using CI/CD pipeline to allow fully automated deployments of IT assets across all environments from Development, Q&A and Production

The Augmented Worker team is looking for a Mixed Reality Developer eager to drive the development of state of the art applications for Apple Vision Pro / AndroidXR Web & Mobile AR/VR.

Studies, skills and experience: 

• Graduated in Information Technology

• 4-5 Years experience in Augmented & Virtual Reality application development

• 4-5 Years of experience in UNITY development

• Experience on various platforms Hololens 2, iPad, Apple Vision Pro, Mobile

• Knowledge on programming languages (Ex: Python, Javascript, Java etc).

• Knowledge on Version control systems like Git.

• Knowledge on API testing, DevOps, CI/CD Integration would be an advantage.

• JIRA and Confluence knowledge

• Strong attention to detail.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Customer focus

• Collaborative behaviour 

• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

• English on negotiation level
