Clay Modeller

A purpose driven role for you

To visualize and create aesthetic design, volume and proportion of product in clay.
Candidate must have skill in clay sculpting using clay tools.
Work directly/interact with Designers, Cad Modellers to develop clay model to meet design and engineering requirements

A Day in the life

Develop clay model through 2D Sketches, Designer Verbal inputs and engineering criteria
Meet time line and desired quality standard target precisely
Use of Layout/cmm machine
Can operate milling machine

Academic Qualification & Experience

Min. Diploma
7–10 Years of professional experience in clay modelling in any OEM

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Must have good clay sculpting skills
Good understating of surface construction
Good understanding of volume and proportions
Create models, surfaces and details based on 2D sketches and designers inputs in clay
Finishing and highlight corrections of clay surfaces
Filming and painting of the clay model
Knowledge of CMM/Layout machine and can operate milling machine
Basic knowledge of digital modelling would be added advantage
