Specialist - System Management
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Backup Recovery Engineer L3 with strong expertise in Veeam Backup Replication Veritas NetBackup and Commvault The candidate will be responsible for enterprise backup administration disaster recovery operations backup infrastructure management cyberresilience initiatives restore validation and ensuring compliance with backup and retention policies across onpremises virtualized and cloud environments Enterprise references highlight expertise in data protection backup disaster recovery restore testing RPO/RTO design immutability and platforms including Commvault and Veeam
Key Responsibilities
Backup Administration Operations
Administer and support Veeam Backup Replication Veritas NetBackup and Commvault environments
Configure and maintain backup policies schedules retention rules and storage repositories
Monitor backup jobs and proactively resolve failures
Manage backup infrastructure across physical virtual and cloud platforms
Perform backup performance tuning and capacity planning
Disaster Recovery Data Protection
Design and support backup and recovery strategies aligned with business RPORTO requirements
Execute disaster recovery drills and restore validation exercises
Support business continuity and data protection initiatives
Ensure backup integrity and recoverability through regular testing Backup migration and restorevalidation activities are referenced in enterprise backup migration materials KM FY26Q25160807872 PDF
Veeam Administration
Configure and manage Veeam Backup Replication infrastructure
Manage backup repositories proxy servers replication jobs and retention policies
Perform VM filelevel and applicationaware backups and restores
Troubleshoot backup replication and recovery issues Enterprise documentation references Veeam Backup Replication backup jobs VM protection retention configuration and restore operations
Commvault NetBackup Administration
Administer Commvault and NetBackup backup environments
Configure backup clients media agents policies schedules deduplication and storage targets
Support backup lifecycle management and migration activities
Troubleshoot backup infrastructure and restorerelated issues Enterprise documents reference largescale Commvault backup environments retention management migration and recovery validation
Cloud Backup Recovery
Support backup integration with Azure AWS and hybridcloud environments
Manage cloudbased backup repositories and longterm retention
Assist with workload migration and dataprotection initiatives
Support backup data lifecycle management and storage optimization Enterprise content references cloudbased Veeam repositories and backup migration activities across Azure and OCI KM FY26Q25160807872 PDF
