Testing - BCM Functional - Staff

Requirement Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Test Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for test design, execution, automation, defect management, and ensuring the quality of banking and payments applications in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform manual and automated testing activities across web, API, and integrated systems.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects through closure.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.
• Contribute to test automation framework development and script maintenance.
• Validate API integrations and backend services.
• Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

Skills Required:

• Functional Testing: Hands-on experience in: Test Design, Test Execution, Defect Reporting and Management, Defect Triage
• Agile Delivery: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Test Automation: Hands-on experience with: Selenium, Java, Test Automation Frameworks, Ability to design, develop, debug, and execute automation scripts.
• API Testing: Experience with Postman, REST APIs, REST Assured, Exposure to API automation and validation techniques.
• Domain Knowledge

Knowledge of:

• Core Banking systems
• Credit Card lifecycle management
• Debit Card lifecycle management
• Payment’s processing and transaction flows

To qualify for the role, you must also have:

• BE / BTech / MCA / M.Sc.
• 2-4 years of testing experience in Banking & Capital Markets platforms
• At least have basic experience in any of the automation tools (Selenium, UFT, Protractor)
• Flexible in working any shifts / ODC environments.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Experience in functional testing methodologies and tools.
