Department Description

The mission of Solutions & Builders CoE team is to build, deliver and support IDO/GDO environments for use by our Solution Engineers (SEs) and Builders here at Salesforce. These environments incorporate the latest product capabilities that Salesforce has to offer, tailored to meet the needs of specific product or industry. With these demo environments, SE’s and Builders have the tools that they need in order to deliver a best practice demo for a given product or industry and enable our SE’s to scale, innovate and provide the best product demonstrations of their careers.

Role Overview

As a Solution Developer on the Solutions CoE team, you will play an important role in building, enhancing, and supporting demo assets used by Salesforce's global Presales organization. You will use your technical and product expertise to make demo assets scalable, reliable, and deployable on demand using the Salesforce and NextGen platforms.

You will primarily align with a specific industry or product area and develop expertise in the associated business processes, Salesforce capabilities, and demo experiences. The role includes front-end and back-end development, integrations, automation, troubleshooting, and supporting the adoption of new Salesforce product capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Align to a specific industry or product area, develop relevant domain and technical expertise, and support incoming technical requests through established support channels.

• Deliver planned enhancements and technical improvements for assigned industry or product areas, aligned with team priorities and V2MOM objectives.

• Review and address assigned GitHub pull requests and technical requests within established service-level expectations.

• Communicate effectively and collaborate with stakeholders through established team channels and workflows

• Build reusable utilities and automation that reduce manual effort, prevent common errors, and improve the reliability of demo deployments and experiences.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve demo quality, process, deployment reliability, developer productivity, and operational efficiency

Required skills and qualifications

• This is a Salesforce Platform engineering role. We are looking for a 4-6 years experience developer with strong hands-on experience building solutions on the Salesforce platform, including technologies such as Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, SOQL, Flows, and Salesforce platform development tool

• Experience working with Salesforce Products like Agentforce, Data Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CRM Analytics

• Good to have experience working with Git and GitHub workflows, SFDX, Cumulus CI, CLI

• Must have certifications - Salesforce Admin, App Builder, Platform Developer - 1

• Experience using AI-powered developer tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools to improve development productivity, problem-solving, code quality, and automation.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

• Strong collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams across different time zones.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Good to have Salesforce Sales / Service / Other consultant certifications

• Any certifications related to AI tools like Claude, Cursor, etc.

• Good knowledge of Python

• Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
