KPMG Global Services is looking for an Assistant Manager — Microsoft Copilot Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered productivity and automation solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem. This is a senior, hands-on role: the candidate is expected to deliver solutions independently as an individual contributor while also leading, mentoring, and coordinating a team of Copilot and Power Platform developers.

This is a fast-moving, continuously evolving space. New Copilot capabilities, connectors, and agent features ship almost every week, so we are looking for someone who is genuinely curious and treats learning new features as part of the daily job — and who helps the team stay current as well.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of custom Copilot solutions, agents, and extensions across Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio.

• Work as an individual contributor on complex solutions while also leading and mentoring a team of developers.

• Own delivery: plan work, and ensure quality, timelines, and standards are met.

• Build and maintain automation using Power Automate, including cloud and desktop flows, and develop custom connectors to integrate with internal and third-party systems.

• Engage directly with business and client stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and present demonstrations.

• Ensure solutions follow security, governance, data-handling, and compliance standards within the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Continuously evaluate newly released Copilot and Power Platform features and drive their adoption across the team.

• Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and support end-user adoption.
  
  

• 7–10 years of overall professional experience in software / application development or IT consulting.

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience building solutions with Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio.

• Proven ability to work both as an independent individual contributor and as a team lead / mentor.

• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform — Power Automate, flows (cloud and desktop), and Power Apps.

• Experience building custom connectors and integrating with REST APIs and external services.

• Solid understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem — SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, and Microsoft Graph.

• Familiarity with authentication and security concepts such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), OAuth, and role-based access.

• Experience with Azure services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure OpenAI).

• Knowledge of prompt engineering and building AI agents / plugins.

• Exposure to programming languages preferably Python, JavaScript, or C#

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

The successful candidate must be equally comfortable delivering solutions individually and leading a team — setting direction, unblocking colleagues, reviewing work, and growing the capabilities of those they lead.

The Microsoft Copilot and AI space evolves rapidly. The candidate is expected to actively track and learn new features as they are released, experiment with them, apply the most relevant capabilities to solutions, and share that learning across the team so the group stays current.

• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-400, PL-600, or AI-102).

• Prior experience managing project delivery or small development teams.
