The opportunity

The individual will play the role of a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer in designing, building, and deploying secure, scalable, and user-centric enterprise applications within the Technology Transformation team.

The role will require working closely with Managers, Product Owners, Architects, UX, QA, and business stakeholders. It will involve developing modern web applications using .NET and front-end frameworks, integrating enterprise services and data sources, and working with AI capabilities where relevant.

The objective of this role is to deliver production-grade digital solutions that simplify business processes, improve user experience, and create measurable value. GenAI and AI integration experience will be an added advantage.

 

Your key responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining end-to-end enterprise web applications using .NET technologies and modern front-end frameworks
• Translating business and functional requirements into scalable application architecture, technical designs, APIs, data models, and user experiences
• Building backend services and RESTful APIs using C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core
• Developing responsive and reusable user interfaces using Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI component libraries
• Designing and optimizing relational database objects, queries, and data-access components using SQL Server or equivalent databases
• Integrating applications with enterprise and third-party systems using REST APIs, JSON, Microsoft Graph, messaging, or event-driven patterns
• Implementing secure authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and role-based access control
• Applying clean architecture, SOLID principles, design patterns, and coding standards to build maintainable and extensible solutions
• Writing unit, integration, and automated tests, and participating in peer reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications to cloud environments
• Collaborating with product, UX, QA, data, infrastructure, security, and domain teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Guiding and reviewing the work of junior developers and contributing to technical standards, reusable components, and knowledge sharing
• Integrating GenAI or AI services into applications, where applicable, such as conversational interfaces, document processing, intelligent search, summarization, classification, or assisted workflows
• Ensuring solutions meet enterprise expectations for security, privacy, logging, monitoring, resilience, and supportability

 

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework Core
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern front-end framework, preferably Angular or React, along with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Strong understanding of full-stack application design, RESTful APIs, JSON, OpenAPI / Swagger, and API security
• Experience with SQL Server, database design, stored procedures, query optimization, and object-relational mapping
• Sound understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, Moq, or equivalent tools
• Working experience with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD practices
• Working experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Experience troubleshooting production issues using application logs, telemetry, and monitoring tools
• Good understanding of secure coding, performance, scalability, accessibility, and responsive design
• Exposure to GenAI concepts and the integration of AI services or LLM-based capabilities into enterprise applications will be an added advantage
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, prompt design, or AI-assisted development tools is desirable

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• 5-8 years of software engineering experience, including strong hands-on experience in full-stack .NET application development
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise web applications to production
• Hands-on experience across backend services, front-end development, databases, system integration, testing, and deployment
• Experience contributing to reusable frameworks, components, accelerators, or engineering standards
• Ability to independently own technical workstreams and collaborate effectively with distributed teams and stakeholders

 

Ideally, you'll also have

Hands-on experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault, Application Insights, API Management, Docker, Kubernetes / AKS, microservices, event-driven architecture, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines will be an added advantage. Microsoft Azure, .NET, cloud, DevOps, security, or AI certifications are preferred.
