Job Purpose

Responsible for operations and maintenance of the CS Core elements deployed in the circle such as MSS, GCS, MGW/GMGW,HLR-HSS including NLD/ILD Nodes .  KPI based Analysis, managing system uptime , perform regular O&M activities, Coordination with different functions and  supporting Business deliverables will be the key focus points .

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

• Ensure 99.999% System Uptime and Regular Backups
• Responsible for alarm clearance in the nodes in coordination with respective functions
• Traffic Routing and optimization based on report analysis
• Ensure timely system upgrades of  MSS/GSC/MGW/GMGW/NLD-ILD nodes/HLR-HSS and support capacity expansion
• Offloading the old nodes
• Acceptance testing for new connectivity’s , RA/IT clearance
• Routine preventive  maintenance for CS Core/LD core nodes
• Traffic report analysis and initiate actions to improve KPIs
• Hardware support for CS-Core/LD nodes, Spare Management and related database updating and tracking
• Coordination with Vendors/PMS/COG/INM/CHM/CODE/other functions for KPI restoration/analysis/Changes and new product Implementations
• Resolve customer complaints with in TAT (including support for VI enterprise solutions - SIP , PRI etc)
• Ensure accurate implementation of all types of changes, judge impact of changes, pre / post service confirmation for each of the change including KPI tracking and impact analysis.
• Perform KPI analysis and  optimization
• HLR/HSS support including management of profiles and Database
• Report preparation and new sim key file generation

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

• In-depth understanding and hands on working experience on various core nodes like MSS, MGW, LD nodes and knowledge in handling  Roaming configurations and SCCP/Code routings
• Command level knowledge of configuration in CS core Nodes of different vendors
• Clear understanding of all types of call flows for CS Core and VOLTE.
• Experience with tool like Wireshark and protocol analyzer
• Basic understanding of Cloud and IP infra
• Trace analysis and troubleshooting skills including knowledge of various protocols like ISUP, SCCP, MAP, BICC, SIP, and Diameter.
• Knowledge in Telco cloud architecture will be an added advantage
• Should be Good team player and should have good communication skills.
• Analytical, Reasoning and logical thinking skills
• Positive Attitude towards problem solving, learning new things, adopt changes

Must have technical / professional qualifications

BE (E&C, E&TC, Computers)

CCNA certification, Cloud Certification (will be a plus),

Years of Experience

5-10 years of experience.
