Sr. Engineer (Customer Quality)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer audits and timely closure of audit findings.
- Work closely with process and production teams to achieve customer requirements.
- Conduct periodic review meetings with export customers and present quality performance.
- Perform monthly customer portal reviews and ensure timely response to actions.
- Lead field failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Manage customer complaints and coordinate containment actions.
- Prepare and monitor CAPA implementation and effectiveness.
- Conduct dock audits and outgoing quality verification.
- Support PPAP submissions and customer approvals.
- Apply 8D methodology, 7QC tools, SPC and MSA to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor customer scorecards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Production, or related Engineering.
Experience: 3-8 years in Process Quality/Manufacturing Quality.
Knowledge: 8D, 7QC Tools, SPC, MSA, PPAP, PFMEA, IATF16949, Poka-Yoke and audit systems.
Skills: Leadership, analytical thinking, communication, problem solving and team management.
Computer Skills: MS Office and ERP/SAP exposure preferred. Ability to operate effectively with executive leadership and Board members - Exceptional analytical, problem solving, decision making and financial modeling capabilities
- IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Customer Specific Requirements, 8D Problem Solving, 7 QC Tools, Customer Audit Management, Field Failure Analysis, CAPA Management and Root Cause Analysis.
