Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for stakeholders. The position demands coordinating various activities to ensure the application meets business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. The engineer actively engages in problem-solving and decision-making to drive the project forward, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across different components and teams.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development tasks to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Strong experience in application design, development, and configuration within ServiceNow platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to IT service management applications.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
- Experience in managing workflows, automation, and custom scripting to enhance application functionality.
- Capability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
