Lead - Credit Compliance
- Regulatory and Policy Compliance
- Responsibility: Ensure all credit underwriting, loan origination, and processing activities align with internal credit policies and external banking regulations or lending laws.
- Key Metric: Zero major compliance breaches or regulatory penalties during audits. [1]
- Credit Risk Assessment & File Review
- Responsibility: Conduct rigorous pre-approval and post-approval reviews of high-value or complex credit files to validate accuracy and risk thresholds.
- Key Metric: Turnaround time for compliance sign-off and accuracy percentage of file evaluations.
- Audit and Exception Management
- Responsibility: Identify credit exceptions, missing documentation, or policy deviations; track remediation and reporting.
- Key Metric: Percentage of identified exceptions resolved within the designated SLA (Service Level Agreement).
- Process Training and Advisory
- Responsibility: Guide sales, lead generation, and credit underwriting teams on updated compliance mandates, KYC/AML norms, and documentation requirements.
- Key Metric: Frequency of team training sessions and reduction in recurring documentation error
