About the Role

We are looking for multiple Senior Film Editors/Post-Production Supervisors who can independently supervise and finalise complete episodes, films and serials produced through conventional and AI-assisted production workflows.

The selected candidates will lead junior editors and coordinate with directors, AI artists, sound designers, VFX professionals and the production team to deliver broadcast-ready final masters.

Key Result Areas (KRA)

Take complete responsibility for editing and finalising assigned episodes or projects.

Convert raw footage and AI-generated material into a coherent and emotionally engaging narrative.

Prepare rough cuts, fine cuts, director’s cuts and final broadcast masters.

Maintain narrative flow, pacing, continuity and emotional impact.

Identify and correct problems relating to visuals, dialogues, performances, lip-sync and scene continuity.

Supervise junior editors and distribute editing work according to episode schedules.

Coordinate with directors regarding scene selection, corrections and final approvals.

Integrate AI-generated visuals, animation, VFX, live-action footage and stock material.

Supervise colour correction, grading, graphics, titles, subtitles and credits.

Coordinate dubbing, sound editing, Foley, background music and final audio mixing.

Maintain correct episode duration and channel/OTT technical specifications.

Establish file-naming, project-management, backup and version-control systems.

Conduct technical quality checks before final delivery.

Ensure that all episodes are completed according to the production calendar.

Create different masters and promotional edits for television, OTT, YouTube and social media.

Maintain a properly organised archive of project files and approved masters.

Required Experience

Minimum 7 years of professional editing/post-production experience in television serials, films, documentaries, animation or premium digital content.

Experience in independently finalising complete episodes or long-format productions.

Strong command of storytelling, pacing, continuity, sound and visual grammar.

Experience of supervising junior editors and managing multiple episodes simultaneously.

Experience in mythological, historical, devotional, animation or VFX-heavy projects will be preferred.

Knowledge of AI-generated content and AI-assisted post-production will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification

Degree or diploma in Film Editing, Post-Production, Film Production, Mass Communication or a related field is preferred.

Candidates with substantial experience and an exceptional showreel may be considered without a formal degree.

Required Technical Skills

Strong working knowledge of:

Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve

After Effects or equivalent compositing software

Colour correction and grading

Multi-layer audio editing and synchronisation

File formats, codecs and broadcast standards

Media management, backup and version control

AI-assisted video, audio and post-production workflows

Performance Measurement

Timely delivery of assigned episodes

Number of revisions required after senior review

Editing quality and narrative impact

Technical accuracy of final masters

Effective supervision of junior editors

Proper maintenance of project files and backups

Compliance with channel, OTT and digital delivery specifications
