Electronics Hardware & Testing Technician

We are looking for an Electronics Hardware Technician responsible for PCB soldering, assembly, hardware inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and quality checking of electronic products and IoT devices.

The candidate should have basic knowledge of electronic components, PCB assembly, soldering techniques, and the ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware issues.

Key Responsibilities

●    Perform through-hole and SMD component soldering on PCBs.

●    Assemble electronic components, connectors, wires, terminals, relays, sensors, and modules.

●    Inspect PCBs for:

○    Soldering quality

○    Short circuits

○    Dry/cold solder joints

○    Wrong component placement

○    Component damage

○    Polarity and orientation errors

●    Perform PCB power-on testing and functional testing.

●    Use testing equipment such as:

○    Digital Multimeter

○    DC Power Supply

○    Oscilloscope

○    LCR Meter

○    Function Generator, where required

●    Check voltage, current, continuity, resistance, and signal levels.

●    Perform hardware troubleshooting and fault identification.

●    Test assembled products according to provided test procedures and checklists.

●    Verify connectors, cables, switches, relays, sensors, LEDs, displays, and other hardware interfaces.

●    Carry out rework and component replacement when required.

●    Maintain testing records and report hardware failures.

●    Identify recurring production issues and communicate them to the hardware/design team.

●    Assist in prototype assembly and testing of new PCB designs.

●    Follow ESD precautions and safe handling procedures.

●    Maintain proper tools, workstations, components, and testing equipment.

●    Support final inspection and quality control before dispatch.
