Hospital Night Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a responsible and proactive Night Shift Supervisor to oversee and ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all hospital operations during night hours. The supervisor will be responsible for overall supervision of departments such as X-ray, dressing, patient admissions, billing, sweeper/housekeeping, maintenance, and patient coordination. The role requires ensuring that each staff member fully understands their duties and performs their work accurately and responsibly.

Key Responsibilities:

Take full charge of hospital operations during the night shift.

Ensure that X-ray and dressing services are available and function smoothly.

Oversee admission and discharge procedures;

Monitor the billing process to ensure accuracy and timely completion of patient accounts.

Supervise sweeper and housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the premises.

Handle basic maintenance issues and escalate technical matters when needed.

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and support staff to ensure proper patient care and communication.

Ensure that all staff on duty clearly understand their roles and perform their responsibilities efficiently and professionally.

Maintain a night shift logbook with important observations, complaints, and any incidents for morning handover.

Act as the point of contact for patient families or any operational queries during night hours.
