Job Description

  • : Prepare and adjust CNC lathe machines, tools, and chucks for production runs.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read technical drawings and 3D models to find correct dimensions and tolerances.
  • Quality Control: Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to test finished pieces against required specifications.
  • Machine Operation: Load raw stock, run test cycles, and monitor turning, boring, and facing operations.
  • Maintenance: Clean the workspace, clear metal chips, add coolant, and perform routine tool changes.
