Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Position: Engineering Production Manager – Shop Floor

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Production Manager who can independently manage our factory floor and handle production planning, machine operations, engineering drawings, workers and overall production execution.

Key Responsibilities:• Plan and execute daily production as per orders and delivery schedules

• Manage complete shop-floor production activities

• Supervise and manage workers, operators and production manpower

• Allocate jobs to workers and monitor their performance

• Read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and convert drawing requirements into production activities

• Understand dimensions, tolerances, material specifications and other drawing details

• Have practical knowledge of engineering machines and machine operations

• Coordinate machining, fabrication, assembly and other manufacturing processes

• Monitor production quality and ensure products are manufactured as per drawing/specifications

• Solve production and technical problems on the shop floor

• Prepare production plans and track job progress

• Coordinate with management, purchase, stores and quality teams

• Ensure timely completion of production targets

• Maintain discipline, productivity and safety on the shop floor

Candidate Requirements:✅ Mechanical / Engineering background preferred

✅ Must have good engineering drawing reading knowledge

✅ Practical knowledge of machine operations

✅ Strong engineering manufacturing knowledge

✅ Experience in production planning and execution

✅ Strong worker/manpower management skills

✅ Ability to work directly with workers on the factory floor

✅ Good knowledge of dimensions, tolerances and measurements

✅ Practical problem-solving ability

✅ Experience in machinery manufacturing will be an advantage

✅ 5+ years of relevant experience preferred

Important: This is a hands-on Shop-Floor Production Manager position. Candidate should be capable of working practically with machines, workers and engineering drawings—not only office-based production planning.
