Job OverviewWe are looking for a creative, research-oriented, and detail-focused Social Media Content Writer who can turn research and ideas into engaging social media content, short-form video scripts, and advertising creatives.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with a social media or digital marketing agency and understand how to create content that captures attention, communicates ideas clearly, and keeps audiences engaged.

This role requires strong research skills, creative thinking, storytelling abilities, and hands-on experience writing scripts for Instagram Reels, short-form videos, and social media advertisements.

• Key ResponsibilitiesResearch industry trends, trending topics, audience interests, and relevant information to develop engaging social media content.
• Write creative and research-based scripts for 30-second Reels, short-form videos, and social media advertisements.
• Develop engaging hooks, compelling storytelling, and strong calls to action (CTAs) to capture audience attention.
• Create social media captions, post content, creative copy, and content ideas for different brands.
• Convert complex information and research findings into simple, interesting, and easy-to-understand content.
• Understand brand guidelines, target audiences, and brand tone to create relevant and consistent content.
• Collaborate with social media managers, designers, video editors, and marketing teams to execute content ideas.
• Research competitors, analyze trending content formats, and identify creative opportunities for social media platforms.
• Develop content ideas for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other relevant social media platforms.
• Revise and refine scripts based on feedback to ensure content quality, clarity, and engagement.
• Ensure all content is original, fact-checked, grammatically correct, and aligned with the brand's objectives.
• Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum 1 year of experience working with a Social Media or Digital Marketing Agency is required or strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in social media content writing and short-form video script writing.
• Proven ability to write engaging 30-second Reel and video scripts.
• Strong research skills and the ability to turn research into concise, engaging, and informative scripts.
• Excellent command of English, including grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
• Strong storytelling, creative thinking, and content development skills.
• Ability to write attention-grabbing hooks and effective calls to action.
• Understanding of social media trends, audience behavior, and short-form content formats.
• Ability to adapt writing styles to different brands, industries, and target audiences.
• Strong attention to detail, fact-checking, and content accuracy.
• Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience creating content for social media campaigns, Reels, advertisements, and promotional videos.
• Experience working with multiple brands or clients in an agency environment.
• Understanding of Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video platforms.
• Ability to identify trending topics and convert them into relevant content ideas.
• A portfolio of previously written Reel scripts, video scripts, captions, or social media campaigns.
