Solar Peoject Manager

Job Summary :

The Ground Mount Solar Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of ground-mounted solar power projects within timeline, budget, and quality standards. The candidate will coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage complete execution of ground-mounted solar projects from initiation to commissioning.
• Prepare project schedules, planning, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams at project sites.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work completion as per project timeline.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Handle contractor management, vendor coordination, and material planning.
• Monitor project quality and resolve technical/site issues.
• Conduct site inspections and progress reviews regularly.
• Prepare and submit project progress reports to management.
• Coordinate with government authorities, clients, and consultants when required.
• Ensure proper project documentation and handover process.
• Visit project locations regularly for inspection, progress review, and issue resolution.
• Travel across India for ongoing and upcoming solar project sites.
• Maintain daily/weekly field work and progress reports for management.
• Supervise field activities and monitor project execution at site locations.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and local teams for smooth operations.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of ground mount solar project execution.
• Knowledge of civil, electrical, and structural work related to solar plants.
• Project planning and team management skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple project sites.
• Familiarity with MS Office and project reporting tools.
