Job Description
WE ARE HIRING: STP & ETP OPERATOR
Company: Apurva Water Management System
Location: Jamnagar Gujarat
Experience: 1 to 5 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Preferred
Role Overview
We are looking for skilled and responsible STP & ETP Operators to handle the daily operation and maintenance of Sewage and Effluent Treatment Plants across Gujarat.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Operation & Monitoring
- Operate STP/ETP machinery including pumps, blowers, aerators, and chemical dosing systems
- Monitor plant parameters: pH, DO, MLSS, flow rate, and ensure treated water meets GPCB norms
- Maintain daily log sheets and shift handover reports
2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine checks, lubrication, and preventive maintenance of equipment
- Identify faults and coordinate with technicians for quick resolution
- Ensure proper chemical stock and dosing as per process requirement
3. Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and maintain housekeeping at plant site
- Ensure compliance with GPCB, GWSSB, and client environmental standards
- Support during inspections, audits, and commissioning activities
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in operating STP/ETP/WTP plants
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and process controls
- Ability to read P&ID drawings and understand process flow
- Physically fit for shift duties and site work
- Willing to travel across Gujarat for project sites

- Salary: 18,000 – 35,000 per month based on experience
