Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily books of accounts and financial records.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Manage GST returns, TDS calculations, and related statutory compliance.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and expense reports.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers and vendors.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and tax assessments.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
- Ensure accuracy of accounting records and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
