Job Purpose: Engineer - Project Coordination is responsible for supporting in planning, executing, and commissioning renewable energy projects within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This includes coordination with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring statutory compliance, and utilizing digital tools to enhance project efficiency. The role also emphasizes proactive problem-solving, process optimization, and adherence to safety and quality norms to achieve project milestones.

Project Support & Coordination

Assist Lead Infrastructure in planning and execution of infrastructure projects.

Coordinate with engineering teams, consultants, and contractors for day-to-day activities.

Track progress of site activities and ensure alignment with project timelines.

Site Execution Support

Support implementation of infrastructure works such as: 

Roads, drainage systems, and utilities

Water supply and sewerage networks

Electrical and associated infrastructure

Buildings & MEP Works 

Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Monitoring & Reporting

Analyse daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and highlight exceptions

Maintain MIS dashboards and update project status regularly.

Highlight delays, risks, and issues to senior management.

Contractor & Vendor Coordination

Interface with contractors for engineering, material supply, work execution and resource mobilization.

Track contractor performance and escalate issues when needed.

Contract amendment coordination

Stakeholder Coordination

Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, finance, planning).

Support liaison with local authorities (if required).

Ensure smooth communication across project functions.

Qualifications

• Education: B. Tech in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 6–8 years in infrastructure or construction Projects

Technical Skills/ Software

• Basic Knowledge of SAP
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (preferred)
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Project Management
• MS Project/ Primavera
