Associate Manager- Cyber Security
Responsibilities
IDAM Specialist
Identity Lifecycle Management:
Support the administration of identity lifecycle processes, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
Implement role-based access control (RBAC), user provisioning policies, and workflows across applications and systems.
Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of user identities and associated access rights across the enterprise.
Authentication and Authorization Management:
Implement and manage authentication mechanisms such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and other access controls.
Assist with configuring and managing federated identity management solutions, ensuring smooth integration with cloud and on-premises applications.
Ensure that proper access control mechanisms are in place to provide secure, role-appropriate access to critical systems and data.
IAM Tool Support and Maintenance:
Assist in the configuration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including tools like Okta, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, SailPoint, or similar.
Provide technical support for IAM tools and applications, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with vendors for escalated issues.
Perform regular system health checks, ensuring IAM tools and systems are performing optimally.
Access Reviews and Compliance:
Conduct regular access reviews to ensure compliance with the principle of least privilege and internal security policies.
Assist in ensuring that identity and access management practices are in compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
Prepare reports on user access and permissions for internal audits and compliance requirements.
Incident Response and Support:
Assist in investigating and remediating incidents related to identity and access management, such as unauthorized access, privilege escalation, and account compromise.
Support the resolution of identity-related security incidents, escalating as needed to senior security staff or incident response teams.
Monitor logs and user activity for anomalous behavior, ensuring that any incidents are reported and addressed promptly.
Policy and Process Support:
Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of identity management policies, including user access management, authentication protocols, and access control rules.
Collaborate with other teams to implement best practices for managing identity across the organization’s IT infrastructure and cloud platforms.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication:
Work closely with IT, HR, compliance, and application teams to understand their requirements and ensure appropriate identity and access controls are in place.
Provide support and guidance to internal teams regarding identity management processes and policies.
Assist with user training and awareness programs on the importance of strong identity management and secure access controls.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of identity and access management processes and tools to enhance efficiency, security, and user experience.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies in the identity and access management space.
Participate in regular training and professional development activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Certification:
Relevant certifications such as Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)/ CompTIA Security+, or similar are a plus.
Experience with IAM tools and technologies such as RSA, One Identity, Net IQ, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, SailPoint, or similar platforms with industry standards and regulations related to IAM, such as ISO 27001, NIST etc.
Strong knowledge of IAM technologies and best practices, including SSO, privileged access management (PAM), and user provisioning
Work Experience (Range of years):
5+ years of relevent experience working in Identity and Access Management (IDAM) roles.
