Position: Cost Estimation & Proposal Engineer

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 2–5 Years (Preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs/BOMs, and technical-commercial proposals for industrial equipment and turnkey projects.
• Analyze customer enquiries, technical specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope and costing.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Purchase, and Production teams to collect technical and commercial inputs and ensure timely proposal submission.
• Prepare and revise proposals, cost sheets, and project quotations as per customer requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and prepare/modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD; knowledge of 3D design software such as Solid Edge or SolidWorks is preferred.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and maintain records of estimates, quotations, and proposal status.

Required Skills: Mechanical engineering knowledge, cost estimation, proposal preparation, AutoCAD, MS Excel, engineering drawing interpretation, and effective coordination and communication skills.
