Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify engineering drawings as per requirements.
• Develop designs, components, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
• Create detailed drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and GD&T wherever required.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable and practical.
• Review existing designs and suggest improvements for quality, cost reduction, and ease of manufacturing.
• Support production and quality teams in resolving design-related issues.
• Make design changes based on customer requirements and production feedback.
• Ensure all drawings and designs follow company standards and applicable engineering practices.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned design projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or similar.
• Knowledge of engineering drawing, manufacturing processes, and machining/fabrication.
• Understanding of material selection, tolerances, fits, and basic GD&T.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
