Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
• Inspect and maintain wiring, electrical panels, MCBs, MCCBs, DBs, switches, sockets, lighting, and power points.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and attend to breakdowns on a timely basis.
• Maintain electrical systems for kitchen equipment, refrigeration equipment, HVAC, exhaust systems, pumps, motors, and other utility equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
• Check and maintain earthing, electrical connections, cables, and safety devices.
• Attend to electrical breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
• Support installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machinery.
• Coordinate with external electricians, contractors, and service providers when required.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, spare parts, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure availability and proper usage of electrical tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and statutory safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Report major electrical faults, recurring issues, and equipment failures to the reporting manager.
• Support facility and maintenance teams during renovation, new outlet setup, equipment shifting, and expansion activities.
