Job Description
We are looking for a Fashion Designer who can handle the complete product development process from fabric selection to production handover.
- Key Responsibilities🧵 Select fabrics, colors, prints & trims as per our target market.
- ✏️ Develop new Kurti & ethnic-wear designs based on current trends and customer requirements.
- 👗 Coordinate and develop samples from concept to final approval.
- 💰 Calculate fabric consumption and product costing accurately.
- 🏭 Prepare approved samples/specifications for smooth production handover.
- 📞 Regularly follow up with karigars, masters, embroidery/work vendors & sampling team.
- ✅ Ensure correct fitting, finishing, measurements and quality of samples.
- ⏱️ Ensure samples are completed within committed timelines.
- 📈 Keep track of market trends, fabrics, colors and commercially viable designs.
- Ideal CandidateExperience in women’s ethnic wear / Kurtis preferred.
- Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, sampling & costing.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills.
- Should have a commercial design sense — creating products that fit the company’s target customer and price range.
