Job Description
Job Title: Front Desk Executive
Location: Gurukul, Ahmedabad
Number of Openings: 1
Salary:
• Fresher: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month
• Experienced: ₹20,000 – ₹21,000 per month (based on experience)
Working Days & Timings:
• Days: Monday to Saturday
• Timings: 11:00 AM to End of OPD (Outpatient Department)
• Saturday: 6 working hours only
Role Overview:
The Front Desk Executive is the first point of contact for patients and visitors, responsible for managing reception operations, handling patient coordination, and ensuring a smooth and professional front-desk experience. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-friendly approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk & Patient Handling:
• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Guide patients based on their requirements and ensure a smooth flow within the clinic
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Patient Registration & Records:
• Register new patients in the system with accurate data entry
• Prepare and print patient case sheets for consultations
• Retrieve and manage records of existing/old patients efficiently
Appointment Management:
• Schedule and manage patient appointments using clinic software
• Facilitate follow-up appointments for patients
• Coordinate appointments for other consultant ophthalmologists associated with the clinic
• Inform patients about delays or changes in schedules
Billing & Coordination:
• Collect consultation/professional fees and issue receipts
• Coordinate with Patient Assistant staff for issuing prescribed eye drops
• Act as a communication link between patients and medical staff
Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Handle calls, emails, and front desk communication
• Ensure smooth day-to-day front desk operations
Candidate Requirements:
• Graduate (preferred)
• Prior experience in front desk/reception or healthcare is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in Hindi & English (Gujarati is a plus)
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, hospital/clinic software)
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional attitude and presentable personality
