Lead - Electrical
Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical engineering and design activities for utility-scale BESS projects.
- Develop electrical system architecture, SLDs, protection schemes, and power distribution layouts.
- Perform electrical equipment selection including transformers, switchgear, breakers, cables, protection relays, and auxiliary systems.
- Coordinate with EMS, PCS, SCADA, Mechanical, Civil, and Commissioning teams for project execution.
- Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and vendor documents.
- Conduct power system studies including:
- Load Flow Analysis
- Short Circuit Analysis
- Harmonic Analysis
- Earthing Studies
- Protection Coordination Studies
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, IS, NEC, and Utility/Grid standards.
- Support procurement activities through technical bid evaluation and vendor qualification.
- Lead FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, and performance validation activities.
- Provide technical support during project execution and troubleshooting.
- Drive engineering optimization for cost, reliability, safety, and performance improvements.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- M.Tech in Power Systems/Electrical Engineering preferred
