Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee the manufacturing of pharmaceutical machine parts and components. The candidate will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and improving production processes to ensure high-quality output, timely delivery, and compliance with industry standards such as GMP and ISO requirements.

• Key Responsibilities
• Plan and supervise daily production activities for pharma machinery parts manufacturing.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within quality and timeline requirements.
• Monitor machining operations including CNC, VMC, lathe, milling, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Coordinate with design, quality, maintenance, and procurement teams for smooth workflow.
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize wastage.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, work orders, and process documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards, and company SOPs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Manage manpower allocation and shop floor discipline.
• Monitor machine maintenance schedules and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
• Ensure proper inspection and quality control of manufactured machine parts.
• Handle vendor coordination for outsourced machining or fabrication work if required.
• Required Qualifications
• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering, preferably in pharma machinery or precision engineering industries.
• Knowledge of CNC machining, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with GMP, ISO standards, and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of stainless steel fabrication for pharmaceutical equipment.
• Experience with process optimization and production planning.
• Understanding of pharma equipment such as tablet press, capsule filling, coating, or liquid filling machines.
• Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T.
