Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious and result-oriented Sales Manager to lead our retail insurance distribution footprint. In this role, you will map out aggressive market penetration strategies, and maximize revenue channels across life, health, and general insurance verticals. You will build key relationships while aligning targets with the broader financial ecosystem of the IIFL Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement localized and regional sales tactics to accelerate retail and corporate premium acquisitions.
• Key Account Management: Nurture high-value corporate accounts, SME clients, and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), providing custom risk-management portfolio assessments.
• Performance Analysis: Review monthly performance data, audit business funnels, and present conversion strategies to regional leadership.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure absolute compliance with IRDAI rules and company standard operating procedures during the client onboarding stage.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Graduate degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Experience: 1–5 years of experience in insurance sales (Life, Health, or General)
• Regulatory Compliance: Valid IRDAI certification or deep understanding of retail insurance operations and broker-compliance dynamics is highly desirable.
• Network Capabilities: Proven track record in B2C or B2B business generation within financial sectors.
• Soft Skills: Dynamic relationship management, crisp presentation skills, and strong analytical capabilities.
