Sales Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an energetic and target-oriented Sales Manager to drive business growth, manage sales activities and build a strong team in the Ambala market.

KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve assigned sales targets through effective planning and execution.

• Generate new business through customer acquisition, referrals and local market development.

• Recruit, guide and manage sales advisors/agents to build a productive sales team.

• Train and motivate team members on products, sales processes and customer handling.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

• Identify market opportunities and implement strategies to increase business in the assigned area.

• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews and field-level sales activities.

• Ensure timely follow-up with leads and support the team in converting prospects into customers.

• Maintain accurate sales reports, pipeline updates and daily/weekly performance tracking.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance requirements and ethical sales practices.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Strong communication, sales and interpersonal skills.

• Target-driven, confident and self-motivated personality.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

• Sales/field-sales experience in insurance, banking, BFSI or related sectors will be an advantage.

• Local market knowledge and customer network in Ambala will be an added advantage.
