Quality Control Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must know the usage of quality instruments like vernier caliper, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, Depth Gauge, Radius Gauge, Process, etc
• In-Process Inspection of CNC Machined Components produced by process of Castings.
• Identify Casting defects such as blowholes, shrinkage, cracks, misruns, cold shuts - Training will be provided.
• If candidate has knowledge of CMM then he will be preferred.
• Visual inspection as per ASTM / ISO / customer standards
• Surface finish and machining quality checks
• Knowledge of Documents - ISIR, In process Sheets and Final Inspection documents.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, control charts, and quality records
• O 9001 / IATF 16949 / customer-specific standards
• Assist in internal audits and customer audits
• Support root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Rejection & Improvement Identify non-conforming products and raise NCRs
• Coordinate with production for corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework
• Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of foundry processes and casting defects
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
• Proficiency in measuring instruments
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• If candidate is interested then training will also be provided to learn the above skills.
