Job Description
Senior Interior Designer
Key Responsibilities
• Meet with clients to discuss style preferences, functional needs, and project budgets.
• Sketch design plans and build digital layouts, mood boards, or 3D models using design software.
• Select materials such as flooring, paint colors, lighting, fixtures, and furniture.
• Manage project timelines and estimate total costs for completion.
• Coordinate with contractors, electricians, painters, and architects to execute the design safely and correctly.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
Job Requirements
• Education: A bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in programs like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Illustrator.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, artistic creativity, visualization, and problem-solving abilities.
