About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our marketing and creative team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of short-form video content, social media trends and visual storytelling.

You will be responsible for editing videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional campaigns, product videos, tutorials and other digital marketing content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social media platforms.
• Create engaging promotional and product-focused videos for ipshopy.
• Edit tutorial, explainer and educational videos with clear visual flow.
• Add transitions, text animations, captions, sound effects, music and other elements where required.
• Create videos according to brand guidelines and campaign requirements.
• Select and arrange footage to create engaging and well-paced content.
• Perform basic color correction, audio enhancement and video optimization.
• Create multiple video versions and formats for different social media platforms.
• Stay updated with current video editing styles, social media trends and content formats.
• Coordinate with the marketing and creative team to understand video requirements and deadlines.
• Organize and maintain video project files, raw footage and final exports.
• Ensure all final videos meet quality, resolution, aspect ratio and platform requirements.

Required Skills

·        Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social media video formats.

·        Understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions, typography and sound.

·        Ability to turn raw footage into engaging and visually appealing content.

·        Good attention to detail.

·        Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

·        Creative thinking and willingness to experiment with new content formats.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating e-commerce, product or advertising videos.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Basic understanding of graphic design.
• Experience with motion graphics and promotional content.
• Understanding of social media content trends.
• Knowledge of AI-based video and creative tools is an advantage.

Experience

0-2 years of experience in video editing, content creation or a related field.

Freshers with a strong portfolio and good editing skills may also be considered.
