As RaseUp continues to expand its school network, teaching team, and operations, we are looking for a motivated and responsible HRD / HR Manager to take ownership of our complete HR and employee management function.
This is a hands-on HR role where you will be responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle and building efficient HR systems and processes.
🎯 Position: HRD / HR ManagerThe HRD / HR Manager will manage the complete HR function, including:
Recruitment → Talent Acquisition → Interview → Selection → Onboarding → Documentation → Contract → Attendance → Leave → Salary Calculation → Payroll Coordination → Employee Management → Performance → Discipline → Resignation → Full & Final Settlement → Exit
The ideal candidate should be organized, people-oriented, process-driven, and capable of handling multiple HR responsibilities independently.
- 🔹 Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent AcquisitionManage the complete end-to-end recruitment process.
- Understand manpower requirements from different departments.
- Prepare job descriptions and recruitment requirements.
- Post vacancies on LinkedIn, job portals, social media, and other platforms.
- Run recruitment campaigns and hiring drives.
- Source and screen candidates.
- Shortlist suitable candidates.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews.
- Maintain candidate databases and recruitment pipelines.
- Coordinate with department heads for final selection.
- Follow up with selected candidates until joining.
- Ensure timely closure of open positions.
- 2. Job Posting & Recruitment CampaignsCreate and publish professional job postings.
- Manage LinkedIn and other recruitment channels.
- Conduct recruitment campaigns.
- Manage walk-in interviews and hiring drives.
- Maintain applicant and candidate records.
- Track: Applications → Screening → Shortlisting → Interview → Selection → Joining
- 3. Employee Onboarding & JoiningManage complete employee joining formalities.
- Collect and verify employee documents.
- Prepare offer and appointment letters.
- Coordinate employment contract preparation and signing.
- Create employee profiles and Employee IDs.
- Explain company policies and HR procedures.
- Coordinate department allocation and reporting.
- Complete onboarding checklists.
4. Employee DocumentationMaintain complete and updated employee records, including:
- Personal details
- KYC documents
- Educational certificates
- Experience documents
- Employment contracts
- Offer/appointment letters
- Bank/payment details
- Emergency contact details
- Attendance and leave records
- Performance and exit records
All employee information must be maintained with strict confidentiality.
- 5. Attendance & Leave ManagementManage daily employee attendance.
- Verify employee in-time and out-time.
- Track late arrivals, early departures, absenteeism, and half-days.
- Manage leave applications and records.
- Coordinate attendance corrections.
- Prepare monthly attendance reports.
- 6. Salary Calculation & Payroll CoordinationPrepare monthly salary calculations based on verified attendance.
- Calculate attendance-based salary adjustments.
- Track approved deductions, incentives, and allowances.
- Prepare payroll data.
- Coordinate with Accounts/Finance for salary processing.
- Resolve employee salary-related queries.
- Ensure payroll information is accurate and timely.
- 7. Employee ManagementAct as the first point of contact for routine HR matters.
- Handle employee queries and concerns.
- Coordinate with department heads.
- Support employee engagement and retention.
- Track employee concerns until resolution.
- Escalate serious matters to management.
- 8. Performance ManagementCoordinate employee performance reviews.
- Collect performance feedback.
- Track probation periods.
- Monitor employee KPIs.
- Identify performance concerns.
- Coordinate performance improvement plans where required.
- 9. Employee Discipline & HR PoliciesImplement and communicate HR policies.
- Monitor attendance and workplace discipline.
- Handle policy violations.
- Track repeated absenteeism and negligence.
- Maintain warning and disciplinary records.
- Escalate major matters to management.
10. Employee Exit & Full & Final SettlementManage the complete exit process:
Resignation → Notice Period → Handover → Clearance → Attendance Verification → Final Salary Calculation → Full & Final Settlement → Exit Documentation

- Coordinate employee handover.
- Verify final attendance.
- Coordinate department clearance.
- Check company assets and documents.
- Coordinate Full & Final Settlement with Accounts/Finance.
- Complete exit formalities.
- 11. TA / Travel Allowance ManagementCollect TA claims.
- Verify supporting documents.
- Check eligibility and policy compliance.
- Coordinate approvals.
- Maintain TA records.
- Track pending claims.
- Coordinate approved payments with Accounts/Finance.

👤 Candidate ProfileWe are looking for someone who is:

- Comfortable handling attendance and payroll coordination.
- Good with Excel / Google Sheets.

- Capable of working independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing organization.
- Willing to take ownership of HR operations.
Experience1–6 years of relevant HR experience.
Candidates with strong hands-on experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Attendance, Payroll, Employee Management, HR Operations, and Employee Lifecycle Management will be preferred.
Candidates with 1 year of experience and strong HR knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
- 🎓 QualificationMBA / PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- MSW-HR or equivalent qualification can also be considered.
- Graduate candidates with relevant HR experience may apply.
Experience in Education, EdTech, School, Startup, or Service Industry will be an advantage.
