Job Description

A Dispatch Supervisor in the food industry manages the daily shipping, loading, and transport of food products to make sure deliveries arrive fresh, safe, and on time. [1, 2]



Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment: Supervise the accurate packing, labeling, and loading of food and beverage orders. [1, 2]
  • Quality and Safety Compliance: Ensure food items meet strict temperature controls, batch tracking, hygiene standards, and safety regulations before they leave the facility. [1, 2]
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and schedule warehouse loaders, pickers, and delivery drivers. [1, 2]
  • Documentation: Verify and manage shipping papers like invoices, delivery challans, and E-Way bills using ERP or inventory software. [1, 2, 3]
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with production, warehouse, sales, and logistics teams to solve delays or inventory errors quickly. [1, 2, 3]
